  17. I log into my account using C-Kermit for VAX (the latest version)
  18. over a 14.4 modem into a Cisco terminal server and connect
  19. to my an RS/6000 running AIX.

  21. When I use the WWW via Lynx, sometimes the screen becomes
  22. complete garbage, i.e.  all the characters that were once
  23. normal, switch to bizarre characters.  I know this is a C-Kermit
  24. caused phenomenon, as I've dialed using DTEPAD many many times
  25. in the past with no ill effects.

  27. What kind of "set"'s can I do before I dial, at the Cisco prompt,
  28. or on my AIX machine that might alleviate this problem???

  30. It appears to happen mostly when I'm "arrowing" around in Lynx,
  31. and I suspect would happen on any other full screen application
  32. that I ran.
